“Arising to Excellence” in
every area of our daily lives is God’s plan. And yet,
in the culture in which we live, it seems that more often than
not, our focus for the day is directed to striving, struggling,
or stewing, with little hope of ever ‘arising’.
II Timothy 3:1 says "...In
the last days there will be times of stress..." In some
way, we have all become acquainted and perhaps accepting of
that stress. Many of us have been flung from pit to pillar–and
sometimes back again, a few times. Our value seems unsure,
our roles are but a vapor, and our clothing of strength and
dignity is worn full of holes. And yet we hear our heavenly
Father’s call more clearly than
ever:
"Rise up, you daughters of Jerusalem."
As daughters of the King, His
invitation is to arise, above our circumstances and enter into our
destiny of living in liberty, balance, victory and His peace today.
He longs for our response: “Yes, Lord…Yes,
Lord…Because of Your mercy, through Your grace, and by Your
strength, I will arise!”
